As a teenager, Elizabeth Rudolph attended both Interlochen Arts Camp and Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan where she studied music composition and sang extensively in choirs and operettas. Her bachelor’s degrees in vocal performance and music composition came from St. Olaf College, where she sang in the world-renowned St. Olaf Choir. She then attended Roosevelt University's Chicago College of the Performing Arts and was a finalist in CCPA's annual concerto competition. Elizabeth has also attended the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria where she was a semi-finalist in the AIMS 2010 Meistersinger competition. She has also been a participant in the first 2 years of OPTIC here in Chicago. She has also been a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus for several years. In addition to having portrayed such operatic characters as Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Elettra (Idomeneo), Magda Sorel (The Consul), Indiana Elliot (The Mother of Us All), Vanessa (Vanessa) and Leonore (Fidelio) she has performed many songs by well known composers such as Barber, Debussy, Berg, Wagner, Strauss, and Gershwin in recitals as well as her own compositions.
