Come join us for our first cabaret of the season, which examines the intersection between music and medicine, healing and humor.  Performers will blend pop, musical theatre, and classical styles to show why the heart burns with passion, the head pounds with fever, and the liver works so hard.  Why do so many opera heroines die of tuberculosis?  Just how many composers succumbed to syphilis?  When exactly should you get a mammogram?  Find out the answers to these questions and more in a fun and festive program.  Fuzzy microbes and familiar TV themes will also feature alongside tongue-in-cheek presentations by medical professionals, all in an informal setting.  Drink and be merry with VOX 3 this fall!

Admission to major / medical is free, although donations are welcome.  The program will be performed on two dates in the Wrigleyville neighborhood.  We are pleased that Nisei Lounge will be hosting us, offering drink specials in their charming space at 3439 N. Sheffield, located near the Red line Addison station.
