Soprano Caroline Gatlin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University. Former roles performed include Satirino and Destino in La Calisto, Suor Infermiera in Suor Angelica, all with the Bay Area Summer Opera Theatre Institute. She has performed on numerous opera scenes concerts in which she performed the roles of Zdenka, Zerlina, Adina, Oscar, and Amore with BASOTI, Chicago College of Performing Arts, and the Italian Operatic Experience. Caroline’s musical theatre credits include Liesl in The Sound of Music, Guenevere in Camelot, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. In addition to opera and musical theatre, Caroline has performed the soprano solos in Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, all with the Rockdale County Chamber Chorus in the Metro-Atlanta area. The Georgia native is a student of soprano Judith Haddon, and she is thrilled to be joining the VOX 3 family for the 2011-2012 season.
