VOX 3 presents child/play, a family-friendly concert of art song from around the world. From Leonard Bernstein's "I Hate Music" cycle to virtuosic variations on "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to new arrangements of traditional kids' songs like "I Know an Old Lady," child/play is an accessible, interactive introduction to classical music for the entire family.

Younger children will appreciate the spirit of play, encouraged by the seven performers through masks, dance, art, and story time. Adults will enjoy rarely performed works by such familiar composers as Mozart, Rossini, and Mussorgsky. More than singers, VOX 3's versatile performers are your guides on musical journeys - through the nursery and into magical lands with fantastical creatures - sure to stimulate minds young and old and to get the audience out of its seat.

child/play premieres in a private concert for patients and families in the Brown Family Life Center at Children's Memorial Hospital.
