Baroque Baritone Duo Featured on Barihunks Blog

VOX 3 Collective Artistic Director Brian von Rueden and guest artist Carl Frank were recently featured on the Barihunks blog, preceding their appearances on VOX 3’s program of German and Danish cantatas, presented January 9 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Andersonville and January 13 at Chicago Temple in the Loop.  The pair sing together in Mogens Pedersøn’s 1620 Missa quinque vocum and Dieterich Buxtehude’s Swedish cantata, Herren vår Gud.  Frank is also featured in Nicolaus Bruhns’s virtuosic cantata Mein Herz ist bereit, while von Rueden joins sopranos Elizabeth Shuman and Karen Nussbaum for a trio, Cantate Domino, BuxWV12.

Tickets for these events are available on Eventbrite.
