Bass-baritone David J. Baldwin made his VOX 3 Collective debut in the company’s 3-show residency at Uncommon Ground, performing everything from Harold Arlen to Stephen Schwartz to Henry Purcell. An 11-year Chicago resident, David has performed with such local institutions as Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony, Music of the Baroque, Opera for the Young, The Bailiwick Theater, and Light Opera Works. He holds music degrees from Taylor University and Bowling Green State University. When he's not singing, he enjoys training for marathons and playing league volleyball. In this upcoming season, David is excited to be making his debut with the Metropolitan Opera Chorus in their production of Götterdämmerung.
